Barnyard Millet Mango Phirni with Nutri Couture Trail Mix A creamy, summer-perfect millet dessert made with real mangoes, clean ingredients & a crunchy superfood
- Ingredients
- ¼ cup Barnyard Millet (Sanwa / Jhangora)
- 1½ cups milk (or almond / coconut milk)
- ½ cup fresh mango pulp
- 1½–2 tbsp jaggery powder or date paste
- ½ tsp cardamom powder
- 1 tbsp Nutri Couture Trail Mix
(or Nutri Couture Pumpkin Seeds – lightly roasted) - Few saffron strands (optional)
- Method
- Wash and soak barnyard millet for 20–30 minutes. Drain well.
- Grind the Trail Mix into fine powder.
- Dry roast lightly, then cook with milk on low flame till soft and creamy, Trail Mix powder.
- Add jaggery/date paste and cardamom. Mix well and switch off the flame.
- Allow to cool slightly, then gently fold in fresh mango pulp.
- Pour into bowls, top with Nutri Couture Trail Mix or Pumpkin Seeds.
- Chill for 1–2 hours and serve cold.
- Chef Tips
- Add mango pulp only once the mixture is warm (not hot) to avoid curdling.
- Trail Mix adds crunch + plant protein, while pumpkin seeds boost zinc & immunity.
